Livelihood :In the area of livelihood Bamboo Craft work is going on in Pondi, Pondi Khurd, Ambikapur block and Aamgoan in Lundra block of Ambikapur District with the assistance from GoI Ministry of Textile, O/o Development Commissioner (Handicrafts). It includes different phases of baseline survey, mobilization for formation of 10 SHG of 100 artisan (initial stage), training schemes, technological design workshop, exhibition, integrated design workshop, print media and website development, craft bazaar and CFC (Common Facility Centre). Skill development programme under National Bamboo Mission programme of NABARD by execution in the area of village Andi and Kotmi, block Pendra, Bilaspur dist. It included 30 number of beneficiary including women for skilled training for two month. People directly learned the knowhow of bamboo craft, other linkages and primary entrepreneurial skill about it.
