CARDS is a member of the City Task Force, under City Sanitation Project for Raipur, in support with GTZ (German Technical Cooperation organization), and Raipur Municipal Corporation for preparation of a city sanitation plan.
Survey

• Survey conducted on land use and infrastructure survey of the whole city under the supervision of the city sanitation plan consultant.
• Slum profiling and focused group discussions in all the notified and unnotified slums of the city on access to infrastructure, issues & problems.
• Conducted a sample household survey in 2 wards of Raipur city under supervision of the CSP consultant.

Awareness Generation

• Need assessment for awareness generation.
• Prepared an awareness generation plan.
• Conducted awareness generation programme in the city.

Assistance in conducting workshops

• Assisted the CSP consultant in conducting workshops, and conferences and managing logistics during the project by providing adequate man power and other assistance.

Assistance in translation

• Assisted the CSP consultant in translating the documents which are in Hindi and communication material in Hindi.
